Christmas Eve Day

On Christmas Eve while the hubs was as work, my brother's family came over to play! It hadn't snowed a whole lot in December and it started snowing when they got to my house! It was an exciting Christmas Eve surprise!
We played the Wii, watched some Netflix Christmas shows,  and ate peppermint ice cream (J ate his container of Nutella like it was ice cream! Ha ha)

All of the kiddos (minus the napper)!

We also got in the snow mood by making snowflakes!

After the fake snowflakes, we checked out the real ones...

It was a fun day! Thanks, E Family!

Christmas Parties All Around!

We are so blessed to have many wonderful friends! We love Christmastime to be able to celebrate with those who are close to us! We had two friends parties at our house this year; one with Cortney's high school friends, and one with our mutual married friends. As always, we had a blast with everyone! Along with the fantastic food, we had some wonderful company!

A little blurry, but all the peeps!

Round 2 friend party:

We played some fun games, ate good food, and enjoyed each others' company. We sure do love our friends!

Our Kitty, Murray!

We had a new addition to the T Family - a kitty! I found him on KSL from an older woman who could no longer care for him because she was moving to an assisted living center. He is a large cat and is my favorite kitty color - orange! During his first week, he moved into a new place, went to PetSmart and got a bath and a comb-down, and got all 4 paws de-clawed. He was a spiffy kitty after all that! It took him awhile to warm up to us, but now he is a lovey kitty! He is a great cat and has fit in well with our family.

We love our kitty, Murray!

Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! We had dinner at our new house! I was pretty nervous to cook Thanksgiving dinner, seeing as I had never done it before. I really do love to cook, so it was actually a lot of fun! The most nerve-wracking part for me was the cooking of the turkey. I looked online at several sites to see the best way to cook a turkey and it turned out surprisingly delicious! The whole dinner turned out great! (thinking about it right now is making my mouth water!) Cortney carved his first  turkey - it was cute, ha ha! My parents came over for dinner, so it was just us 4. It was nice to have a low-key Thanksgiving! The weather was also beautiful that day. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing holiday!

During Thanksgiving weekend, those still at home for the weekend got together at my sister's house for some grub and good times.

Good times, as usual, were definitely had! We love our family!

My Gui-tar man

My hubby loves to play the guitar. Whether it's an electric or acoustic, he could play them for hours on end. He is very talented when it comes to playing the guitar. He also knows which songs are my favorite and which songs work best for woo-ing purposes. :) And another plus - he is very handsome when he plays...

I sure do love my gui-tar man!
