On the first weekend of September, we had our annual E Family Reunion. It was a blast! As a warning, this post is chuck full of photos (here you go, Mom and Dad!) :) The reunion was held at my sister, Kim's house in Monticello, Utah. We had theeeeee most fun weekend with the fam! We arrived late Friday night and just hung out for a bit before setting up the tent and heading to bed.
Saturday was so much fun!
Charley started out the day teaching C how to ride the scooter. Awesome.
The trampoline was definitely a hit among the kids!
After breakfast was over and Cortney finally woke up, we played a family game, Minute to Win It. It was so cool! I got the inspiration from the TV show, Minute to Win It. The show features bizarre and not-so-bizarre tasks which need to be completed within a minute time limit. If you haven't seen it, check it out on nbc.com. It is a great family game and instructions to each task can be found at http://www.nbc.com/minute-to-win-it/how-to/. We were split up into two teams of with adults and kids on both teams.
Puzzle
Hanky panky
Stacking apples
Unwinding crepe paper
Stacking cups
Balancing hangers
Waterbottle balancing
G after finally balancing a water bottle!
The winners of the game could dunk the losers. Unfortunately, there was a tie, so no adults had to be dunked in the dunking machine (yes, our family reunion included a dunking machine!)
We had DELICIOUS navajo burgers for dinner. They were sooooo good! It's basically a scone used as a hamburger bun. Full of fat- yes. Delicious - definitely! It was a fun night just hanging out. After the kids went to bed, the adults stayed up and played games. Talk about laughing til your ribs hurt! Ha! We stayed up 'til 1am. It was so much fun!
After returning to the house, we all prepared our significant "snacks" for dinner. We had quesadillas, spinach dip, mexican sushi, chips and salsa, etc, etc, and peach shakes! Woot!
I love these guys!
Awesome hat! Cheese!
After dinner, we had a family photo shoot! It was interesting trying to get so many people in one spot, looking at the camera. But we turned out pretty good! The best one is at the beginning of this post. Then we just did silly ones and individual family ones.
The grandkids!
Siblings.
In-laws.
And some more photos! Ha!
We spent the rest of the evening playing, talking, Skyping with Mom and Dad, and enjoying each others' company. And eating more treats. Charley made deep fried candybars. Holy cow - they are awesome! I highly recommend trying them one day!
Awww, presh!
I LOVE this pic!
Friday brought a day of packing up, a pinata, and a giant cookie.
Waiting in anticipation.......
Deep anticipation.......
Guy finally broke it!
So cute!
The parts of the pinata were definitely a "win" for an awesome hat!
Duh.... :)
The super huge, double-stuffed, extra large cookie!
Sneaking a taste!
What an awesome weekend! We love you, E family!

C is ready to go!
Random awesomeness.......
After the game, the kids raced to the dunking machine! It was definitely a hit! It was so much fun to see all the kids get dunked and dunk their cousins! Their faces when they first came out of the water were the best! Ha!
They spent hours dunking each other! And when they were done, they went back and dunked each other again! While the dunking was taking place, we hung out and watched them.
Baby D
Holly also broke out the awesome 3D chalk! It was so cool! Check it.....
So chill....
We had sandwiches and chips for lunch. Mmmmm mmmm mmm!

The afternoon was filled with fun on the trampoline, naps, canning peaches, playing the wii, giving Kim computer lessons, 4-wheeler rides, wagon rides, and just plain ol' fun hangin' out with the family!

Sunday morning after breakfast, everyone got together and we made a package to send to Grandma and Grandpa on their mission!
No, the baby is not part of the care package!

After a snack/brunch, we all headed to church! We took up two benches. It was epic. And funny to watch all the kids during sacrament meeting. So awesome! And cute! We love our family!
After church, we headed over to the Monticello temple to take some pics.
