Senior BFA Show

Two weeks ago we were able to attend the Bachelor of Fine Arts show where Cortney was one of the students featured. Cortney just graduated in Visual Communications (Graphic Design) from WSU! (Woo hoo!) This show was to showcase some of the senior art students' art work. It was sweet to go and see his awesome work!

Check out some of his portfolio....http://wsudessems12-cortney.blogspot.com/

Thanks to everyone who came to support him that night! We have some awesome friends! I'm so proud of my awesome husband! If you are in need of any design work, you know who to contact! ;)

Easter Weekend Fun!

Over Easter weekend, we headed to my sister's house for some fun! While waiting to pick Cortney up in Salt Lake, I took a little venture to the capitol building. Such a beautiful piece of architecture! After I picked up Cortney, we headed south! We of course had to make our usual vacation restaurant stop to In-n-Out. Mmmmmmm. We arrived around midnight-ish to Kim's house. It was a nice drive, and although I sped a little, I did get pulled over and luckily got away without a ticket!
The next morning, we woke up, got the food all readied up and headed to the ranch! When we got there, the kids set off to find some lizards!
We also had a lot of fun playing a little frisbee! I love this shot! Apparently they both weren't aware that the frisbee was coming their way! Ha ha!
T found the biggest lizard of them all!
Love this kid!
Love these kids!
Their apricot trees were at the epitome of blossoming with the loud humming of buzzing bees...

An Easter trip to the ranch wouldn't be complete without an egg hunt
The kids made off like bandits! Speaking of bandits....
Our nephew, K, took the kids around for rides on the horse...
My honey bunny and me!
T with our newest niece!
We had all kinds of fun with the chidrenz!
These goof balls kept the entertainment going :)

On Sunday, it was baby K's blessing day! It was so nice to have many of our family members there to participate. She was (and still is) a very beautiful baby!

Baby K and her daddy...

The proud parents!
My beautiful sis, K's mama...
So cute!

We had a very nice family luncheon and just a great time talking and hanging out with everyone! The weather was so beautiful and the company was prime! We are so glad we could go down and spend some time with the T family and everyone else! We love our family!

Springtime is here!

Around here, it's looking more like spring! It's so fun to see new life! We love it! I was picking Cortney up from school and saw these cute little goslings and had to get a picture!
Playing with the macro lens... (still need to learn to use it better - working on it) The lighting isn't my favorite in these pics, but it'll suffice :)

Happy Spring!

A Fun Little Visit!

Last weekend I took a little trip to visit my brother and his family. It was a ton of fun! Friday night when I got there I found this "baby" in his crib :) After that, we played a bunch, ate dinner, and just chilled.
On Saturday morning we woke up and headed to the annual health fair! It was so awesome! These guys were very excited to show me around.

Our first stop was the fire truck! We got to ride in the ladder far above the truck! It was sweet!

Inside, we found a bunch of friends! We got tons of cool swag and treats. I even won a prize in the drawing!
We even found Smokey the Bear! (He's always been one of my favs)

After the health fair, we headed to E-town to pick up a pig for J's 4H project. We stopped at the farm supply store first and found these little chickies!

The pig barn was cool! Lots o' little piggies to choose from

These two were staying occupied with the little piggies trying to eat their boots! Ha ha! It was cute.
I love these boys!
This big ol' piggy was definitely enjoying his day in the mud :)
After we got home from the pig farm, the family headed to the 4H barn to drop the pig off. Me and C stayed home and ate lunch and then made a little trip to the store for some Easter treats! After the family got home, we spent the afternoon playing the Wii together (our favorite pastime). After dinner, we played a little more and then it was bedtime. After the kids were down, Scott, Holly, and I hung out and watched some cool Netflix shows (which has recently spawned my interest in documentaries!). In the morning, these two early-risers came and hung out with me. I headed home Sunday morning. It was such a fun little trip! I love you guys!
